"O Espírito do Soberano Senhor está sobre mim porque o Senhor ungiu-me para levar boas notícias aos pobres. Enviou-me para cuidar dos que estão com o coração quebrantado, anunciar liberdade aos cativos e libertação das trevas aos prisioneiros, para proclamar o ano da bondade do Senhor e o dia da vingança do nosso Deus; para consolar todos os que andam tristes,"
Deus busca homens e mulheres que sejam como Jesus seu Filho, que estejam dispostos a romper as cadeias de injustiça, libertar os oprimidos e cuidar do seu próximo.
Deus chama pessoas que se interessam e se importam com os outros, que repartam sua comida com os que tem fome, sua água com os que tem sede, que ajudem aos desamparados e aos pobres, que vistam aqueles que sentem frio.
Se fizermos isto a luz se ascenderá em nossas vidas.
Talvez haja muitas pessoas no seu trabalho, na sua escola, na sua casa, ao seu lado agora, que necessitam da sua ajuda, e se nós, se cada um de nós fizermos esta luz brilhar, poderemos iluminar o mundo inteiro.
Talvez se nós falássemos por aqueles que já não tem voz, a vida deles fosse diferente.
Juntos nós iremos mudar o mundo, vamos deixar a nossa marca nesta comunidade, na nossa vizinhança, vamos fazer a diferença, brilhando como luz!
"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. Sent me to take care of those with the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year the goodness of the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who have been sad, " God seeks men and women who are like Jesus his Son, who are willing to break the chains of injustice, freeing the oppressed and caring for your neighbor. God calls people who are interested and care about others who allocate their food with the hungry, those who water their thirst, to help the helpless and the poor, those who wear it feel cold. If we do this the light will rise in our lives. Perhaps there are many people in your work, in school, at home, on your side now, they need your help, and if we, if we each do this light shine, we illuminate the whole world. Perhaps if we spoke for those who have no voice, their lives would be different. Together we will change the world we leave our mark on this community in our neighborhood, let's make a difference, as a shining light!
