"E, para que não me exaltasse pela excelência das revelações, foi-me dado um espinho na carne, a saber, um mensageiro de Satanás para me esbofetear, a fim de não me exaltar."
A palavra de Deus nos mostra que mesmo homens como o apóstolo Paulo tinham espinhos na carne, tinham suas limitações, seus freios.
Quais são os seus espinhos na carne? O que te impede de ser alguém melhor, de fazer mais para Deus, para o próximo, para o mundo.
Eu tenho muitas limitações, fraquezas, muitas vezes me sinto cansado, sem ânimo, sem vontade de prosseguir, lutando contra estes espinhos na carne, que doem, machucam, desgastam.
Mas sempre ouço a voz do Senhor dizendo, a minha graça te basta, pois o meu poder se aperfeiçoa na sua fraqueza.
Então, hoje eu oro a Deus para que o poder dEle seja aperfeiçoado em nós, nos que se sentem fracos, cansados, sobrecarregados.
Que Deus seja glorificado em todas as circunstâncias de nossa vida.
Amém!
"And not to exalt me through the abundance of revelations, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, namely, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, in order not to exalt me."
The word of God shows us that even men like the apostle Paul had thorns in the flesh, had their limitations and brakes.
What are your thorns in the flesh? What prevents you from being someone better, to do more to God, to others, to the world.
I have many limitations, weaknesses, often feel tired, listless, unwilling to continue fighting against these thorns in the flesh, that hurt, wear.
But always hear the voice of the Lord saying, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in your weakness.
So today I pray to God that His power is perfected in us, us who feel weak, tired, overworked.
May God be glorified in all the circumstances of our lives.
